Long Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while April is mostly the driest month. You'll hit upon a lovely lake called Lake Gass near Long Lake, and Super 8 Tampa U.S.F. Near Busch Gardens Downtown is a great place       to get some rest. Why not camp at Frontier Travel Park since you're here at Long Lake; if you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Lamps Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
