At Long Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's; overnight lows at Long Lake all through the winter usually dip into the 40's. All the water falling down from the sky       makes Long Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn Starke is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Starke; Hall Lake is a delightful lake close by.
