A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Lona; most of the rain falls through August; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Suwannee River offers some good whitewater, and camping at Lake Lona is pleasant fun, Lake City Koa       Kampground is a pleasant local campground.
