Sure, Lost Lake is in the neighborhood, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Vinzant. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Seminole Golf Course & Club. At Lofton Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights       at Lofton Pond are in the 30's. If you came for an overnight stay Woodlands Camp Ground is a fine place to camp; after a long day outdoors University Inn and Suites is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Tallahassee, and Sand Pond is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lakeside Travel Park since you're here at Lofton Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Tallahassee here.
