That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Lofton Pond has it all. Lofton Pond gets lots of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. If you need a location to stay Sleep Inn Tallahassee is a perfect choice, and hiking along the Vinzant is splendid fun. If you get bored of Lofton Pond, you could also take a look at close       by Dog Lake, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Tallahassee for sure. Dry warm beds await you at University Inn and Suites, and you can stay the night at Bennetts Overnight Park. This lake is so wonderful. Seminole Golf Course & Club is a golf course next to Lofton Pond, and Lakeside Travel Park is a perfect campground here. Summertime highs at Lofton Pond mostly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's.
