Little Camel Pond gets a great deal of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is regularly the driest month. Super 8 Motel Marianna is a good spot to get some rest; a visit to Fillman Hill Bay is always a brilliant idea. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like South Creek. There's so much to do here at Little Camel Pond       that you need to camp here for a while, Camel Lake Campground is a wonderful place for that. Don't leave Little Camel Pond without first going for a hike along the Trail of the Lakes. There's splendid hiking along the Apalachicola Trail; if you came to camp Big Gully Landing Campground is a good place to do that. During the months of summer highs here at Little Camel Pond get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's.
