Camping is available at Williston Crossings RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Haile Plantation Golf & Country Club, and there are plenty of people from Gainesville here at Levy Lake. High temperatures at Levy Lake through the summer months are in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's; nighttime lows at Levy Lake during       the wintertime typically sink into the 40's. Camping at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park is always a great experience; if you need a site to stay Gainesville Travelodge is a fine choice. Levy Lake is not the only spot close by, Ledwith Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Micanopy Knights Inn.
