The high level of precipitation makes Landy Lake a rather wet site; July is when you get the most rain here while October is commonly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Landy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Torreya State Park is a good site for that, and Gin House Lake is a delightful lake close by. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Landy Lake while overnight lows are       ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Landy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Landy Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Riverview RV Park is a fine local campground; close by you stumble on the Trail of the Lakes which is a great hiking trail. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Marianna is a great site to spend a night or two.
