Swamps like Corley Slough next to Lands       Lake make for wonderful spots to explore; the Trail of the Lakes offers hiking at its best. Lake Shippey is a nearby lake that you could check out, and why not a little side journey to Cochran Slough. Summer at Lands Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Lands Lake tend to be in the 40's.
