Lamps Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Nebraska Travel Trailer is a great local campground, and Super 8 Tampa U.S.F. Near Busch Gardens Downtown is a fine location to get some rest. You'll meet a lot of folks from Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater here. There's so much to do here at Lamps Pond that you need to camp here for       a while, Frontier Travel Park is a brilliant site for that. Lamps Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lamps Pond, you'll hit upon Lake Gass which is a gorgeous lake; since you're here you can play some golf at Babe Zaharias Golf Course. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the                  90's at Lamps Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 60's with temperatures at Lamps Pond dipping down into the 40's during winter nights.
