Many people like to go to Lamar Lake. A pleasant place to camp here at Lamar Lake is Camp Shalom. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Miami Beach come to Lamar Lake; obviously, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Lake Pancoast is a lake nearby. Lamar Lake generally gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is December.
