     A pleasant place to camp here at Lake Octahatechee is Jennings Outdoor Resort, and if you come at the right time of year, Turket Creek offers some good whitewater. You could also stop by Boyd Pond if you're here at Lake Octahatechee; it's close by, and there are some great whitewater spots on Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal). Lake Octahatechee sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October meanwhile  
   is the driest month. High temperatures at Lake Octahatechee all through the warm months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 60's while Lake Octahatechee night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
