You'll meet a lot of people from Valdosta here. If you need a site to stay Valdosta-Days Inn Lake Park is a great choice, and Lake Octahatechee is not the only place nearby, Nasty Pond is a nearby lake. Lake Octahatechee       gets much water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; October is when it's the driest. Through the warmest time of the year at Lake Octahatechee temperatures are mostly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's; overnight lows at Lake Octahatechee during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
