If you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Lake City is a great choice; Lake De Soto is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Inn and Out RV Park is a wonderful place to camp nearby. A tremendous nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Lake City, and nice family fun lies ahead for you at Panda MONI YUM. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Quail Heights Country Club is nearby. But wait,     there's more to do close to Lake De Soto. Stay the night at Lake City Campground, and of course, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Casterline Lake is a lake close by.   While driving around Lake Desoto in columbia county, Florida I saw this 3 1/2 foot Gator sunning just 25 yards from the Law Enforcement memorial.
