A swamp like Battle Slough right next door to L Pond has lots of interesting things to see, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Brooksville I-75. Through the months of summer here at L Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 60's, and night lows in the 40's for L Pond. Be careful coming       to L Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Do set aside some time for Buck Prairie since you're here at L Pond. L Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; through August this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from The Villages, and Rodeway Inn Bushnell is a fine spot to get some rest. Camping is available at Trail's End Camp.                  Lakes are delightful; Lake Annie is a lake that's right next door to L Pond.
