Sunset King Lake RV Resort is a wonderful campground nearby; you'll discover a delightful lake called Holly Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Kings Lake, and the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 60's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Kings Lake drop into the 30's. | | most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Narrows Creek from Kings Lake is uncomplicated, and since you're here, you could also explore wonderful Buffalo Lake.
Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Defuniak Springs. Kings Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Holley King Lake Resort is a good location to camp nearby; Super 8 Defuniak Springs is a magnificent site to get some rest. | |

Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shellcracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions.
We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the ''Big ''Rigs'', with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV. WIFI is also available ($).
You can relax in our quiet atmosphere or spend time with friendly neighbors and have the companionship of fellow RVers. Come to the clubhouse for a bite to eat, play some games, work on crafts, read a book, or just look out over the beautiful lake and surrounding countryside.
There are many planned activities to keep you as busy as you want to be, including Ice Cream Socials, bingo, hot dogs by the bonfire, a pot luck Sunday lunch, and more! Good food, good times, and good friends. It's all waiting for you here at Sunset Kin... |
