Jones Pond generally gets lots of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Jones Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Jones Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's,       and nighttime lows in the 30's for Jones Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Falling Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Johnson Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Suwannee River; a wonderful spot to camp here at Jones Pond is Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park. Jones Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lee's Country Campground                  is a nice local campground; at Jones Pond you always meet someone from Lake City.
