All the water falling down from the sky makes Jones Lake a wet place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. If you need a spot to stay Atmore Days Inn is a great choice, and hey, Bray Mill Creek is a splendid local stream. Dry warm beds await you at Brewton Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside At Barth is a fine spot to camp.

For the duration of the months of summer here at Jones Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Jones Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. | |
