Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is a great local campground, and if you get bored of Johnson Pond you could also visit close by Campground Lake. You're sure to bump into some friendly people from Lake City here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we       recommend Suwannee River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Johnson Pond a wet location; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summertime months at Johnson Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 60's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime                  temperatures at Johnson Pond descend into the 30's.
