You'll meet a lot of folks from Lake City here; you're probably interested in lakes, Campground Lake is one of those close by. Falling Creek is a good whitewater spot right next door to Johnson Pond, and a great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Live Oak. Summertime highs at Johnson Pond commonly tend to be in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into       the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and overnight lows at Johnson Pond throughout the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Suwannee River in the neighborhood of Johnson Pond; Johnson Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lee's Country Campground is a good local campground.
