The Osceola Trail is a great hiking trail next to Johns Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lake City Inn, and if you come at the right time of year, Falling Creek offers some nice whitewater. Johns Pond really is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. There's so much to do here at Johns Pond that       you need to camp here for a while, Lee's Country Campground is a magnificent location for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Quail Heights Country Club. Johns Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and October on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Suwannee River, and while you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Orange Pond. Summertime highs at Johns Pond commonly tend                  to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 70's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and night lows at Johns Pond through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful.
