Johns Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not go to Hancock Lake near Johns Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Suwannee River, and at Johns Pond you always meet someone from       Lake City. Playing golf is lots of fun at Quail Heights Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Shady Grove Mobile Home Park is a nice campground here, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Osceola Trail. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Johns Pond reach the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's                  with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Johns Pond. This spot is peerless, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do near Johns Pond.
