Lakes are glorious; Lake Gertrude is a lake that's close to Lake John; you can go for a hike on the Prairie       Trail. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake John called the Baptist Lake Trasil, and if you came for an overnight stay Holiday Mobile Park is a brilliant spot to camp. For the period of the summer here at Lake John, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake John temperatures drop to the 40's.                  Lake John frequently gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month.
