If you came for an overnight stay Gulf View Resort is a pleasant spot to camp, and if you're visiting from Punta Gorda, you won't be the only one. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Burnt Store Marina & Country Club Marina Golf Club; a lake close by is Cypress Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of John Quiet Lakes, you could also check out nearby       Sister Pond, and why not a little side tour to Big Mound Creek.
