For the duration of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Lake Joel. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 70's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Lake Joel. This lake is so wonderful.       A tremendous close by hotel is Blue Heron Beach Resort, and a nice location to camp here at Lake Joel is Orlando SE/Lake Whippoorwill KOA. There are plenty of folks from Orlando here at Lake Joel. Bullock Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and camping at Gator RV Resort is always a wonderful experience.
