James Thomas Pond is a nice lake to visit. Lake Kristina Camp Grounds is a splendid campground here, and Bishop Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. If you need a spot to stay Brewton Inn is a splendid choice, and not far from James Thomas Pond you'll come across Ellis Pond which is a beautiful lake. Through the warm months at James Thomas Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
