At Lake Jackson all through the summer highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 70's, and nighttime lows at Lake Jackson through the winter usually drop into the 40's. Lakes? Sure, Lake Marian is in close proximity,       and Lake Jackson is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Middleton's Fish Camp Too is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Peavine Trail is pleasant fun, and there are other sites here than Lake Jackson, for example Clay Hole Pond. Lake Jackson is a wet site that gets a great deal of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and April is the month with the least moisture. What a site this is for outdoors                  folks.
