All the water falling down from the sky makes Jack Lake a wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is April. Jack Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Destin Camp Grounds is a pleasant local campground, and after a long day outdoors Inn on Destin Harbor is a good spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Jack Lake ordinarily       tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Jack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Jack Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin. There's so much to do here at Jack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bayview Campground is a delightful location for that. Whohoo, so many entertaining things                  in one place! Jack Lake is so good!
