High temperatures at Indigo Pond throughout the summer are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 60's with temperatures at Indigo Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Indigo Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Juniper Lake Camp Ground is a magnificent local campground, unsurprisingly       you could also have a look at Turner Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. Indigo Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is April. A great nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Defuniak Springs. Defuniak Springs Super 8 Motel is a perfect place to get some rest; Cawthon Branch is close to Indigo Pond and is always a bliss to stop by. This lake                  is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin here.
