Lake Ida is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lake Swan Camp Office is a good campground nearby. Lake Oklawaha RV Resort is a good local campground, and if you're stopping by from Palatka, you won't be the only one. Lake Ida gets lots of water; August is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Ida is not the only place close by, Jewel Lake is a close by lake;

| | dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn And Suites Riverfront. A lake close by is Lake Virginia, and Sleep Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest. Summer at Lake Ida comes with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Lake Ida.
