Many people like to go to Huguenot Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Burrell's Camp Chippewa, and lots of folks from Jacksonville come here. Summertime highs at Huguenot Lagoon typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows descend down to the 70's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Huguenot Lagoon a wet spot; most of the rain falls during August; the driest of the months is November. Jacksonville Beach Golf Club is a golf course right next door to Huguenot Lagoon; if you need a site to stay Hampton Inn Jacksonville-Ponte Vedra is a tremendous choice. Camping at Regency Trailer Park is always a delightful experience.
