Florilow Oaks is a great campground here, and you'll meet a lot of people from The Villages here. Hughes Pond is not the only place nearby, Chandler Pond is a nearby lake, and Wildwood Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Hughes Pond is a quite wet place generally with a great deal of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is       October. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hughes Pond is glorious fun, Webster Mobile Home Park is a glorious local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Bushnell is a great choice. For the period of the summer at Hughes Pond highs are usually in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's.
