Why not stop by Horse Pond if you're passing through these parts. There's so much to do here at Horse Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Grove Mobile Home Park is a great spot for that, and a nice nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn. Scarborough Bend is an out of the ordinary place to check out while at Horse Pond, and Days Inn Lake City is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at close by Falling Creek since you're here at Horse Pond, and there's whitewater on Suwannee River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Horse Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lee's Country Campground, and hiking is a popular
thing to do around Horse Pond; Osceola Trail is a fine local trail. Summer at Horse Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are usually
in the 60's; nighttime lows at Horse Pond through the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 30's. Horse Pond is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
