Honey Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Camel Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Mary Slough is right nearby. What       a site this is for outdoors folks. This lake is so wonderful. Iamonia Lake is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at, and good hiking is available along the Trail of the Lakes. Ricko Bluff is an interesting thing to catch a glimpse of while you're here at Honey Pond; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Marianna is a great site to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Honey Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's, and through the night it cools                  down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 60's with temperatures at Honey Pond dipping down into the 40's all through winter nights.
