     You'll meet a lot of folks from Panama City-Lynn Haven here; do have a look at Negro Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Homestead Pond has to offer, you can camp at Paradise Lakes Resort, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express CHIPLEY. Homestead Pond gets a great deal of water; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Boggy  
   Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at, and Dog Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Homestead Pond. All through the summer months at Homestead Pond temperatures are generally in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 60's while Homestead Pond night low temperatures throughout the
 
               wintertime are in the 30's. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid choice. There's so much to do here at Homestead Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Dogwood Acres is a delightful place for that.
