After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites QUINCY I-10 is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Whitehead Lake Campground if you're here at Highlog Lake. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood       of Highlog Lake. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a fine choice. Through the summertime months highs here at Highlog Lake reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Highlog Lake. Camping is available at Pine Creek Landing Campground, and needless to say Bulloch Branch is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at. The Vinzant offers                  hiking at its best, and Highlog Lake is not the only location nearby, Old Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful.
