You'll stumble on a charming lake called Cooter Lake near Henderson Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Point O'Woods Golf Club. Henderson       Lake gets a lot of water; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is frequently the driest month. A pleasant nearby hotel is Windmill Drive Apartments. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Henderson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cove Campground. At Henderson Lake during the summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 60's; night lows at                  Henderson Lake during the wintertime regularly sink into the 40's.
