This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Falling Creek, and since you're here you can play some golf at Quail Heights Country Club. Stay the night at Casey Jones Campgrounds; there are other spots here than Harper Lake, for example Lake Hamburg. A large amount       of rain falls at Harper Lake; most of the rain falls during August, and October on the other hand is the driest. Summer at Harper Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 60's while Harper Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 40's. Hiking along the Osceola Trail is delightful fun. Cypress Inn is a nice spot to get                  some rest; Suwannee River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Harper Lake.
