Camping at Hardworking Bayou is perfect fun, St James City Koa Kampground is a perfect local campground, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Coral Creek Inlet is right close by. Hardworking Bayou typically gets much precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is April. If you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Alden Pines Country Club, and a wonderful close by hotel is Sanibel

This is a great region for people who like lakes. Clam Bayou is a lake in the neighborhood, and close by you come across Halloway Bayou. This lake is so wonderful. Ft. Myers/Pine Island KOA is a perfect campground here, and after a long day outdoors Island Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Hardworking Bayou. You'll meet a lot of people from Cape Coral-Fort Myers here.
