If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Half Moon Lake. Cooper Basin is a great lake near Half Moon Lake, and golf can be played at Tanglewood Golf & Country Club. Half Moon Lake gets much water; most of the rain falls during July, and October is the month with the least moisture.       At Half Moon Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Half Moon Lake. Big Coldwater Creek is a delightful stream that is worth a visit, and lots of folks from Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent come here. This lake is so wonderful.
