While you're here at Gwen Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Lake City, and there are other sites here than Gwen Lake, for example Lake Hamburg. Falling Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Lake City Campground. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Travelodge Lake City is       a great location to get some rest, and close by you stumble on the Osceola Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Gwen Lake frequently gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Gwen Lake you can play some golf at Quail Heights Country Club, and a wonderful site to camp here at Gwen Lake is Inn and Out RV Park. A tremendous                  nearby hotel is Scottish Inns Lake City. For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Gwen Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's.
