Gornto Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warmest time of the year at Gornto       Lake highs are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Gornto Lake temperatures drop to the 40's.
