There's so much to do here at Gin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Lakes Resort is a wonderful place for that. Gin Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Gin Lake, for example Griffin       Mill Pond, and Hicks Head is another great location to explore nearby. So much cool stuff to do at Gin Lake, so little time. A golf course right next door to Gin Lake is Sunny Hills Golf Club; why not a little side trip to Chalk Hill Branch. Comfort Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest. Chalk Hill is charming and can be spotted from Gin Lake; if you like swamps you're in luck, Double Pond Swamp is right nearby. During the summer months at Gin Lake                  temperatures are frequently in the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Gin Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's.
