This lake is so wonderful. You have to certainly go to Scarborough Bend while you're here at Gar Pond, and Shady Grove Mobile Home Park is a good campground nearby. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Gar Pond is unbeatable! Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Lake City; there are plenty of people from Lake City here. Lee's Country Campground is a good local campground; glide down the rapids of Falling Creek in a kayak.

This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Suwannee River, and why not take a little trip to Falling Creek since you're here. All through the long summer days at Gar Pond highs are ordinarily in the 90's with nighttime lows
in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's while Gar Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
