July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is November. Lake Franklin is not the only location close by, Lake Louise is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Lake Franklin that you need to camp
here for a while, Holiday Mobile Park is a wonderful spot for that.
A nice place to pop by in the vicinity of Lake Franklin is Sunset Valley, and folks from Orlando love to come here. After a long day outdoors Ecom Lodge is a
brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Mount Dora Golf Club is a splendid golf course nearby. There's nice hiking along the Baptist Lake Trasil; needless to say Wolf Branch flows through this region.
