Going for a hike along the Trail of the Lakes will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and don't miss out on a nice swamp; Big Cypress Swamp is right here at Fields Lake. All through the summertime months here at Fields Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the       70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Fields Lake. You could also go to Solomon Lake while you're here at Fields Lake; it's close by, and Fields Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Cotton Landing Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Fields Lake has to offer. The                  high level of precipitation makes Fields Lake a quite wet location; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful.
