Sure, Lake Ella is in close proximity; if you're here you can take a hike along the Lake Shore Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Defuniak Springs is a great choice, and camping is available at Holiday Lakes Travel Park. Swamps don’t sound that brilliant but McCloud Bay close to Faircloth Lakes is rather brilliant, and some exciting geology is       available here, Yellow Bluff is right here. The high level of rainfall makes Faircloth Lakes a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
