Lake Eva sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is April. Summer at Lake Eva arrives with high temperatures in the 90's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 70's, and after the       sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Eva drop into the 50's. Lake Butler is a nearby lake that you could go to; you can stay the night at Thousand Adventures. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Howard Johnson Inn - Haines City, Florida; a golf course close by is Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club. Lake Eva is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Flamingo Motel and RV Park is a fine site to camp nearby, and                  a lake close by is Engineers Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
