Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. St. John's River Campground is a pleasant local campground. Lake Emporia gets a good deal of water; the       month with most of the rain is July while November is usually the driest month. Lake Emporia is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Sunny Sands Nudist Resort is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Baptist Lake Trasil is always a fine adventure. Summertime at Lake Emporia comes with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 70's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 60's, and overnight                  lows at Lake Emporia throughout the wintertime regularly dip into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful.
