Ellis Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and Ellis Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Florilow Oaks is a splendid place to camp nearby. The high level of rain makes Ellis Pond a relatively wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ellis Pond is not far at all from The Villages; since you might       be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Schoolhouse Pond. Don’t forget to stop at Towns Prairie while you're here at Ellis Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn & Suites. This place, Ellis Pond, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Microtel Inn and Suites Bushnell is a pleasant place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ellis Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wynnhaven Riverside RV Park. Summer                  brings highs in the 90's to Ellis Pond; through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.
