Sure, Ellis Lake is close at hand; Sawgrass Pond is a magnificent lake close by. A lot of rain falls at Ellis Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ellis Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Florilow Oaks is a fine place for that, and Sleep       Inn & Suites is a delightful place to get some rest. Towns Prairie is a magnificent location to stretch your legs a bit, and dry warm beds await you at Wildwood-Days Inn. Ellis Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Wynnhaven Riverside RV Park is a magnificent local campground; Ellis Pond is not far at all from The Villages. Summertime at Ellis Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are commonly in the 70's. Daytime                  highs during the winter are in the 70's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Ellis Pond.
