At Ellis Lake through the summer highs are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 70's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Ellis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from The Villages come to Ellis Lake, and if you need a location to stay Wildwood-Days Inn is a brilliant choice. Ellis Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Lakes are glorious; Sawgrass Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Ellis Lake, and swamps can be such interesting places, take a look at Dog Fennel Prairie if you're here at Ellis Lake.
