Lake Elizabeth is not the only spot nearby, Bonnet Lake is a nearby lake, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Starke is a glorious location to spend a night or two. Having a brilliant time at Lake Elizabeth is trouble-free. High temperatures at Lake Elizabeth during the summer months are       in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Elizabeth dip into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Black Lake while you're here at Lake Elizabeth; it's nearby; camping at Ranch Motel and Camping Park is always a tremendous experience. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Elizabeth a                  relatively wet location; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Keystone Golf & Country Club is a great golf course nearby; swamps don’t sound that brilliant but Morans Prairie in close proximity to Lake Elizabeth is rather brilliant.   Sleep Inn & Suites Waldo, Waldo 9 miles away On US 301 Southbound in the historic City of Waldo.
