A tour to Blue Sink revives the soul; a lake close by is Lake Munson. Here at Eightmile Pond there are plenty of folks from Tallahassee, and there's perfect hiking along the Vinzant. Throughout the summertime here at Eightmile Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. High temperatures       during the winter are normally in the 60's while Eightmile Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Eightmile Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and October is when it's the driest. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Gaither Jake Golf Course is a golf course close to Eightmile Pond, and Eightmile                  Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Lakeside Travel Park is a wonderful location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Munson Slough is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, of course you could also check out Sixmile Pond while you're here; it's not far at all.
