The beauty of Duck Pond is reason enough to stop by. The high level of precipitation makes Duck Pond a relatively wet place; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and November is when it's the driest. Take a hike on the Ocala National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Alexander Springs Recreation is a glorious place for that.
